Woodgate has convenient access to local schools, large areas of open space, and new and existing employment areas. In addition, there is a network of pedestrian and cycle links that will be continually developed to support non-car travel. Whether you’re a resident, a visitor, or a commuter, this travel guide is the perfect source for links available to you on your doorstep.

The local Metrobus route 20 passes through Woodgate and runs 24 hours with connections to Three Bridges, Crawley and Gatwick.

We’re working with West Sussex County Council to understand the travel requirements of everyone living at Woodgate. We would be grateful if one member of your household could complete this survey to help us better understand your travel patterns and needs.

It takes 5-10 minutes to complete and all responses will be treated confidentially. Every household that completes the questionnaire by Sunday 19 May will receive a one month travelcard for Metrobus and be put into a prize draw to win a £250 John Lewis voucher*.

*Terms and conditions apply: This questionnaire is open to all current residents at Woodgate, regardless of whether you own, rent or length of residence. Entries from non residents will not qualify for a travelcard or the prize draw. Your survey answers from section one, questions 1-19 will be provided to West Sussex County Council who will use these to assist in planning for the future provision of public transport networks in the area. No personal data will be provided to West Sussex County Council. Answers to section two and three, questions 20-31 will not be provided to West Sussex County Council. The purpose of collecting these is to provide you with the travelcard and to enter you into the prize draw for the £250 John Lewis voucher. These questions are optional should you not wish to receive the travelcard or enter into the prize draw. Please note, you will not be entered into the prize draw or receive the travelcard if you do not provide answers to these questions, as we will be unable to contact you. Please visit Metrobus for the full terms and conditions of the key card travelcard. Travelcards are valid for one month for one adult or two one weeks for two adults and valid from first use. You will receive the travelcard to your address on a pre loaded key smartcard. You will be notified if you win the prize draw by email and if successful will receive the voucher in the form of a gift card to your address. The gift card can be redeemed online and in store at John Lewis & partners or Waitrose & partners. You must complete the questionnaire by 23:59 on Sunday 19 May 2024 to be entered into the prize draw. For more information about how we process your personal data, read our privacy policy.
